Start with your website! Yes, your website should be clear, concise, and user friendly. Additionally, it MUST be search engine optimization worthy! Do you have too many images and not enough words? Are your social media accounts linked? Do you have a blog? When a potential customer clicks on a tab, do they get correct content? Is the content on your website congruent with your social media content? Are you sending customers to your website via your social media?
Is it all too overwhelming? Sometimes it is. That is when you need to call in the experts! I read a great book several years ago, The E Myth, and the best thing I learned was to delegate the tasks I hated doing, ie., bookkeeping, social media, website design, payroll; and focus on the tasks I loved doing ie., customer relations, marketing, writing, networking, etc.
Once I stopped trying to do it all, it all became easier and more effective!
